Galvanized BWG wire or better known as zinc wire or slippery wire is made of low carbon steel by drawing, pickling, rust removal, strengthening and cooling, and closed by a galvanizing process. This wire is classified as a low carbon wire which is used for various types of applications such as tie wire, gabion wire, etc. Galvanized wire is available in various wire diameter sizes, from BWG 16 (1.6mm) to BWG 6 (4.87mm). This wire is zinc coated at about 40 g / m2.
