Specification of Aplus Gypsym 12mm x 1200mm x 2400mm
DEFINITION OF GYPSUM
Gypsum is a mineral that settles due to the concentration of ions by evaporation. When water has a high salt content, it will convert this material into basanite (CaSO4.H2O) or anhydrite (CaSO4). As a mineral that is formed due to the process of evaporation, gypsum deposits form a layer between sedimentary rocks, limestone, red shale, sandstone, and clay.
GYPSUM FUNCTION
One of the functions of gypsum is to make a ceiling. Gypsum that is fire resistant, has neat and precise contours, and is not easily damaged, making it a profitable material. The size of gypsum can vary, but is usually in the form of a fairly wide sheet. Compared to the bricks that have to be installed one by one, one sheet of gypsum can cover a large surface. This makes the installation process more efficient and effortless.
Gpsum Aplus weighs 16-17kg per sheet. This variant is also fire resistant and moisture resistant. The types are also distinguished by color, gray for standard types, green for moisture resistance, and pink for fire resistance. For gypsum size 9mm x 1200 x 2400mm has a weight of approximately 15 kg/pc.
